scoby sunday

Two days ago, my rock star friend Trevor Reichman brought me a kombucha scoby ( symbiotic colony of bacteria and yeast ).
http://www.seedsofhealth.co.uk/fermenting/kombucha.shtml  Brewed up some green tea + sugar + a touch of distilled white vinegar and dropped the mother in to ferment for about two weeks.

Since today seemed to be an offbeat food prep day - I baked a loaf of my best FL beer bread in the solar oven this afternoon and shared it with some new folks in the hood over dinner.  84,94,64,0,C
